Baked Cheese Wedges

1 pkg. (10 oz.) CRACKER BARREL New York Aged Reserve Extra Sharp
Natural Cheddar Cheese
1/2 cup Italian-style bread crumbs
1/2 tsp. crushed red pepper (optional)
1 egg, beaten


HEAT broiler. Spray cookie sheet with no stick cooking spray.

CUT cheese into 1/2-inch slices; cut slices diagonally in half.

MIX bread crumbs and pepper. Dip cheese in egg; coat with crumb
mixture. Place on prepared cookie sheet.

BROIL 2 to 3 minutes or until cheese is melted. Serve warm with
pizza or spaghetti sauce if desired.
