Streusel Coffee Cake

PREP: 11 min; BAKE: 22 min

This is best served warm, but you can microwave a piece for 10
to 15 seconds on High to bring back that fresh-from-the-oven taste.

Streusel Topping (below)
2 cups Bisquick® Original baking mix
2/3 cup milk or water
2 tablespoons sugar
1 egg


1. Heat oven to 375. Grease 9-inch round pan. Make Streusel
Topping; reserve.

2. Stir remaining ingredients until blended. Spread in pan.
Sprinkle with Streusel Topping.

3. Bake 18 to 22 minutes or until golden brown.

Makes 10 servings

Streusel Topping
1/3 cup Bisquick Original baking mix
1/3 cup packed brown sugar
2 tablespoons firm margarine or butter
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon

Stir all ingredients until crumbly.

Nutritional Info per 1 Serving: 180 calories (60 calories from fat);
7 g fat (2 g saturated); 20 mg cholesterol; 450 mg sodium;
27 g carbohydrate (0 g dietary fiber); 3 g protein.

High Altitude (3500-6500 ft): Heat oven to 425. Use 9" square pan.
Stir 2 Tbsp all-purpose flour into the 2 cups baking mix. Increase
milk to 3/4 cup. Bake 15-20 min.
