Foolproof Chocolate Fudge

You can't fail with this one!

4 bars (8-oz. box) NESTLÉ TOLL HOUSE Semi-Sweet Chocolate Baking
Bars, broken into pieces
2/3 cup CARNATION Sweetened Condensed Milk
1/2 cup chopped nuts, (optional)
3/4 teaspoon vanilla extract


GREASE 8 x 4- or 9 x 5-inch loaf pan.

MICROWAVE baking bars and sweetened condensed milk in medium,
uncovered, microwave-safe bowl on HIGH (100%) power for 1
minute; STIR. The bars may retain some of their original shape.
If necessary, microwave at additional 10 to 15-second intervals,
stirring until smooth.

STIR in nuts and vanilla extract. Spread into prepared loaf
pan. Refrigerate until firm. Cut into squares.

FOR ROCKY ROAD FUDGE:
PREPARE fudge as above. Stir 3/4 cup miniature marshmallows
into melted chocolate mixture with nuts and vanilla extract.

Makes 24 pieces
