Million Dollar Fudge

1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine
4-1/2 cups sugar
1 can (13 oz.) evaporated milk
3 pkg. (12 oz. each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Real Chocolate Chips *
1 jar (7 oz.) marshmallow creme
3 cups chopped nuts
1 tsp. salt
1 tsp. vanilla


*Substitute 3 pkg. (8 squares each) BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking
Chocolate Squares for chocolate chips. Break chocolate squares
in half before adding.


Bring butter, sugar and milk to a full rolling boil in heavy
4-quart saucepan, stirring constantly. Boil 5 minutes on medium
heat, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.

Remove from heat. Gradually stir in chips until melted. Add
remaining ingredients; beat until well blended.

Pour into greased 13x9-inch baking pan. Cool; cut into squares.

Makes 6 pounds

Variations: For Rocky Road Fudge, stir in 2 cups miniature
marshmallows before pouring into pan.
