    Chocolate Brownie Cookies Chocolate Brownie Cookies

    Prep: 15 min - Total: 27 min

    6 squares BAKER'S Semi-Sweet Baking Chocolate
    4 squares BAKER'S Unsweetened Baking Chocolate
    6 Tbsp. butter or margarine
    1-1/4 cups sugar
    3 eggs, lightly beaten
    2 tsp. vanilla
    1 cup flour
    1 tsp. CALUMET Baking Powder
    1/4 tsp. salt
    2 cups chopped toasted PLANTERS Pecan or Walnut Halves


    MICROWAVE semi-sweet chocolate, unsweetened chocolate and butter in large microwavable bowl on HIGH 2 minutes or until butter is melted. Stir until chocolate is completely melted.

    STIR in sugar. Add eggs and vanilla; mix well. Add flour, baking powder and salt; mix until well blended. Stir in pecans. Drop rounded tablespoonfuls of dough, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased baking sheets.

    BAKE at 325F for 12 minutes or until cookies feel set to the touch. Cool 1 minute; remove from baking sheets. Cool completely on wire racks.

    Makes about 4 dozen cookies

    Note: If omitting nuts, increase flour to 1-1/4 cups to prevent spreading of dough. Makes about 3 dozen.

    Great Substitute: Substitute 1 pkg. (6 squares) BAKER'S Bittersweet Baking Chocolate for semi-sweet chocolate.
