1/2 cup (1 stick) butter or margarine , softened (we recommend LAND O LAKES® Butter)
1/2 cup granulated sugar
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 large egg
4 packets (1 ounce each) NESTLɮ TOLL HOUSE® Choco Bake Unsweetened Chocolate Flavor
1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 cup chopped nuts or shredded coconut
PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
BEAT butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and egg in large mixer bowl
until creamy. Beat in Choco Bake. Combine flour, baking powder and baking
soda in small bowl; beat into sugar mixture. Stir in nuts.
DROP by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.
BAKE for 10 to 12 minutes or until edges are set but centers are still
soft. Cool on baking sheets for 3 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool
Makes about 2 dozen cookies
