    Raisin-Nut Bars Raisin-Nut Bars

    Prep: 25 mins - Cook: 20 mins - Cool: 2 hr

    2/3 cup all-purpose flour
    1/2 cup CREAM OF WHEAT Cereal (1-minute, 2 1/2-minute or 10-minute stovetop cooking)
    2 teaspoons baking powder
    1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
    1 cup firmly packed light brown sugar
    1/3 cup margarine or butter, softened
    2 eggs, slightly beaten
    1 cup PLANTERS Walnuts, chopped, divided
    1/2 cup seedless raisins
    Powdered sugar glaze (optional)

    1.Mix flour, cereal, baking powder and cinnamon in small bowl; set aside.

    2.Beat brown sugar and margarine in medium bowl with mixer until creamy. Beat in eggs until smooth.

    3.Stir in flour mixture until blended. Add 1/2 cup chopped walnuts and raisins. Spread mixture in lightly greased 13 x 9 x 2-inch baking pan. Sprinkle with remaining 1/2 cup chopped walnuts.

    4.Bake at 350°F for 20 to 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Drizzle with powdered sugar glaze if desired. Cut into bars to serve.

    Makes 24 bars
