Italian-Style Meat Loaf
Prep/Cook Time: 1 hour 45 minutes
1 cup Prego® Traditional Spaghetti Sauce
2 pounds ground beef
1 1/2 cups Pepperidge Farm® Herb Seasoned Stuffing
2 eggs, beaten
1 large onion, finely chopped (about 1 cup)
1/2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese (2 ounces)
1. In large bowl, mix thoroughly 1/2 cup Prego sauce, beef,
stuffing, eggs and onion. In 2-quart oblong baking dish,
firmly shape meat mixture into 8- by 4-inch loaf.
2. Bake at 350 F. 1 hour 25 minutes or until meat loaf is no
longer pink. Spoon remaining1/2 cup Prego sauce over meat loaf;
sprinkle with cheese. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese is melted.
