Steak Teriyaki


1 bottle or can (12 oz.) beer
1/2 cup soy sauce
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
2 teaspoons lemon juice
3 tablespoons dark brown sugar
1 teaspoon McCormick Ground Ginger
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Ground Mustard
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Coarse Ground Black Pepper
1/8 teaspoon McCormick Garlic Powder

3 -pound sirloin steak, cut 1 inch thick

Place marinade ingredients in bowl or 4-cup glass measure
and beat with fork until well combined.

Place meat in shallow glass dish. Pour marinade over steak
and pierce surface of meat all over with tines of fork. Cover
and refrigerate 12 to 24 hours, turning once.

Preheat broiler or grill.

Remove meat from marinade, reserving marinade. Broil or grill
steak 10 minutes on each side or to desired doneness, basting
frequently with marinade.

Slice steak thinly on the diagonal.
