Sunday Dinner Pot Roast

This classic dish gets a boost of flavor from Grill Mates®
Montreal Steak Seasoning. Sunday dinner will never be the same.

Prep: 10 min - Cook: 3 hrs

3 pounds boneless beef chuck roast, cut 2-inches thick
2 teaspoons McCormick® Grill Mates® Montreal Steak Seasoning
1 cup beef broth
1/2 teaspoon McCormick® Basil Leaves
1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Oregano Leaves
1/4 teaspoon McCormick® Thyme Leaves
4 small potatoes, peeled and halved
4 carrots, cut into 1-inch pieces
1 medium onion, cut into wedges
All-purpose flour for thickening, (optional)

1. Place meat in 4-quart baking pan and sprinkle with steak

2.Combine beef broth with basil, oregano and thyme, and add
to pan.

3. Cover and bake in preheated 350°F. oven 1 1/2 hours.

4. Uncover meat and scatter potatoes, carrots, and onion
around roast. Cover and bake 1 1/2 hours or until meat is

5. Remove meat from pan and slice. Arrange on serving dish
and surround with vegetables. If desired, thicken pan juices
with flour and serve with meat and vegetables.
