Double Apple Cheese Pie

1-1/2 cups chopped Dole Fresh Pineapple
5 cups thinly sliced, peeled Granny Smith apples or other tart apples
1/2 cup sugar
1/3 cup all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1 package (15 oz.) ready-made refrigerated pie crusts
1 cup shredded smoked or sharp Cheddar cheese

Combine pineapple, apple, sugar, flour and cinnamon in large
bowl; set aside.

Prepare pie crust according to double crust directions, using
9-inch pie pan and sprinkling 1/2 cup cheese over bottom crust
before spooning in filling.

Bake at 425 F. 40 minutes or until apples are tender.* Evenly
sprinkle remaining 1/2 cup cheese over crust. Bake 2 to 3 minutes
more or until cheese melts.

* TIP: If edges start to brown too quickly, cover edges with
foil. If pie filling starts to drip, place large piece of foil
on oven rack below pie.
