3 eggs, room temperature
1 cup sugar, divided
3/4 teaspoon McCormick Pure Almond Extract
1 cup graham cracker crumbs
1/2 cup chopped walnuts
1/2 teaspoon McCormick Pure Vanilla Extract
Whipped cream or ice cream to serve, if desired
Preheat oven to 350 F. Grease 9-inch pie plate and set aside.
Separate eggs and set egg whites aside.
Place egg yolks in large mixer bowl and beat with electric mixer
until thick and light. Beat in 1/2 cup sugar and almond extract.
Stir in graham cracker crumbs and walnuts.
Place reserved egg whites in separate mixer bowl and beat with
electric mixer until foamy. Gradually beat in remaining 1/2 cup
sugar and vanilla. Fold into egg yolk mixture and pour into
prepared pie plate.
Bake in preheated 350 F oven 30 minutes.
Serve with whipped cream or ice cream.
Makes 8 wedges, 3 inches each
