Apple and Carrot Salad
Prep: 15 min Total: 5 hr 45 min
2 cups boiling water
1 pkg. (8-serving size) JELL-O Brand Lemon Flavor Gelatin
1-1/2 cups cold apple juice or water
1 medium apple, diced
1 medium carrot, grated
*Or 2 pkg. (4-serving size each) can be substituted for 1
pkg. (8-serving size).
Stir boiling water into gelatin in large bowl at least 2 minutes
until completely dissolved. Stir in cold juice. Refrigerate
1-1/2 hours or until thickened (spoon drawn through leaves
definite impression). Stir in apple and carrot. Spoon into
5-cup mold sprayed with no stick cooking spray.
Refrigerate 4 hours or until firm. Unmold. Garnish as desired.
Makes 10 servings
Great Substitute: Substitute 2 pkg. (4-serving size each)
JELL-O Brand Lemon Flavor Gelatin for 1 pkg. (8-serving size)
