    Green Beans Italiano

    1 pound fresh or frozen green beans
    1 tablespoon olive oil
    1/4 cup chopped onion (optional)
    2 teaspoons McCormick California Style Blend WET Minced Garlic OR 1/2 teaspoon McCormick Garlic Powder
    1 teaspoon McCormick Oregano Leaves
    1/2 teaspoon McCormick Basil Leaves
    1/4 teaspoon McCormick Ground Black Pepper
    2 cups chopped tomatoes
    Salt to taste


    In a saucepan, cook fresh green beans in boiling water 3 minutes or thaw frozen green beans. Drain. Set aside.

    In a skillet, heat oil over medium-high heat. Add onion, garlic and oregano. Cook 2 minutes.

    Stir in green beans and tomatoes. Saute 5-7 minutes or until green beans are crisp-tender.

    Makes 6-8 servings
